| "A quoi rêvent les jeunes filles" - opus 106 |
This
theater music was composed in 1957 for the work of Alfred de
Musset. It presents the characterics of an overture, a
divertissement and a serenade.
The score is convenient for a symphonic orchestra as the
"Mozart" orchestra.
The Maestoso
introduction brings a lyric atmosphere exposed by the beam of
emotioning harmony and orchestration.
The Allegro Vivace is written following the genuine
tradition of ballet music. The dynamism and the freshness of
sounds reflect the feast exuberance and stylishness.
A short serenade comes inside this dance, as the announcement of
a scene change, just before a brilliant conclusion, a moment of
wizardry and comfort.
This magnificent
work was executed on April 12th, 1997 in St-Claude (Jura-France)
by a symphonic orchestra composed of professionnal musicians
coming from the Region.
A numerous and enthusiastic public deeply acclaims this work,
interpreted with spirit and conviction. The orchestra was
conducted by Bernard Dupaquier, conductor, Director of the
Conservatoire de Musique de St-Claude, André Amellér's student,
and President of the Association for the Music of André
Amellér.
The memory of the author joins his spiritual heritage to better
reveal his presence.
An unforgettable concert which touches up the emotions holded in
the music of André Amellér.
